It's finally the end of a clear but windy week in the neighborhood, and the weekend couldn't come soon enough.

Tonight, you can celebrate surviving your coworkers' lame April Fool's pranks by swinging by surfy apparel shop Aviator Nation, which is marking the first anniversary of its Haight Street store with live sets from Love and the Zealous and Valley Queen. Then, stop by Milk Bar to check out the space rock/dream pop stylings of the UK's Telescopes

Next week has some literary events in store, including Monday night's Funny/Sexy/Sad event at Second Act, which promises "a reading series in which every writer must read something hilarious, sex-related or miserably sad."

And, if your tastes run more towards fantasy with an extra side of raunch, don't miss next Thursday's edition of Shipwreck, Booksmith's literary erotic fanfiction event. This month, they'll tackle George R.R. Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" series, which is the inspiration for HBO's Game of Thrones.

Read on for the full rundown of where, when and how to have fun in the Haight this weekend and next week:
