After some beautiful days with temperatures in the 80s, the Castro is set to cool off for the rest of the week, with rain and thunderstorms in the forecast for Saturday. Rain or shine, here's what's going on in the neighborhood.

Tomorrow, the Women's Building is hosting its big 45th anniversary celebration. Since 1971, the first-ever female-owned and operated community center has housed over 170 organizations, opening its doors to more than one million women.

The GLBT History Museum has two events going on this week that are worth checking out. Tomorrow, get a sneak peek of the upcoming Brava Theatre show "Work MORE! 7-Daughters of a Riot," starring Lol McFiercen, Honey Mahogany, Dulce De Leche and VivvyAnne ForeverMORE. Then on Friday, stop in for "White Night Fright," a screening of archival footage for the 37th anniversary of the White Night Riots.

On Saturday, the Castro Merchants are kicking off San Francisco Small Business Week with their annual sidewalk sale. Stores all around the neighborhood will be taking their wares to the street all day, so stop on by for some great deals.

Finally, this Sunday, May 22nd, marks what would have been Harvey Milk's 86th birthday. At 1pm in Harvey Milk Plaza, the Castro CBD will host a celebration, rededicating the new rainbow banners going up along Castro Street.

The Castro Merchants are also launching an annual "Windows For Harvey" initiative, with posters designed by the organization's co-vice president, Brian Springfield, going up in over 100 storefronts throughout the neighborhood. "To get this started, Castro Merchants is providing the posters," says Castro Merchants president Daniel Bergerac. "Next year, we hope to see businesses use their own creativity to celebrate and honor Harvey."

Wrap up the birthday celebration by joining the Harvey Milk Club at the Castro Theatre for their annual birthday screening of the Academy Award-winning documentary The Times of Harvey Milk.
