Upper Haight Week: Your Pride Weekend RoundupPhoto: Camden Avery/Hoodline

It's Pride Weekend, and in addition to the plethora of events going on citywide to ring in the occasion, there's plenty to keep you busy right here in the 'hood.

First—and of course—there is always, always Trax. One of the city's oldest gay bars, Trax will be marking the weekend in true Trax form: decorations, cheap drinks, and a local haunt to ride out the chaos and watch it all go by.

If you're looking for some last-minute glam to festoon yourself, Piedmont Boutique at 1452 Haight St. is, as usual, properly arrayed with wigs, sequins, tights, bodices, and boas.

Don't forget to get properly arrayed before your outing.

Looking for Pride alternatives? The de Young is hosting its weekly Friday Nights series, and is still well into its dance event roster.

If you're looking for a little outdoor activity for your do-gooder list, Saturday morning is the monthly Alvord Lake cleanup day, meeting from 9am to noon at Stanyan and Haight.

And if you're planning into next week, Tuesday evening is your chance to hear the lowdown on possible new sites for bicycle installations, courtesy of Bay Area Bike Share. (More on that, with details, tomorrow.)

Here's the full roster of local events in the 'hood. As always, if you're looking for the full citywide lineup or want to submit an event of your own, mosey over to hoodline.com/events for more.
