Hoodline tipster Wendy D. had a hunch on why traffic is backing up in SoMa today: retired Lakers star Shaquille O'Neal was handing out autographs at the 10th Street location of Costco this afternoon.
It appears Shaq was in town to promote Medea Vodka, which is produced in the Netherlands. With a "patented LED technology and the world’s only personally programmable bottle," the company recently tapped O'Neal as a tech advisor.
A representative for Costco said he's already moved on, but he may be headed to the Almaden Costco next.
