What To Do This Weekend (And Beyond) In The CastroSanchez Street stairs dead end. (Photo: Rodion Steshenko/Instagram)

The past few weeks have been overwhelmingly busy, with Folsom Street Fair, Castro Street Fair, Fleet Week and Decompression. Now that things have calmed down a bit, and rain is on the horizon for the weekend, you might be looking for a few things to do around the neighborhood. Here are a few fun events to keep you dry.

Tomorrow night, head over to the GLBT History Museum for a presentation from program curator Dom Romesburg. He'll be discussing his hard-fought battle to get an LGBTQ history curriculum adopted in California's public schools.

If you've never seen Alfred Hitchcock's classic Vertigo, which includes many scenes filmed right here in San Francisco, now's your chance to finally check out this masterpiece. The Castro Theatre will be showing it every day from Thursday through Sunday, paired with a different Brian De Palma film each day.

Interested in getting a peek inside one of San Francisco's most beautifully designed homes? Join architect George Bradley on Friday night at his Buena Vista Residence for a home tour to benefit Creativity Explored, the organization for developmentally disabled artists, which will have works created by its clients on display.

Architecture lovers will also want to take in the 44th Annual Victorian House Tour, to be held in Duboce Triangle on Saturday afternoon. This self guided tour features eight Victorians, and proceeds will benefit The Victorian Alliance Grant Program.

In life, you've got many choices, and RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars fan favorite Tatianna would like you to choose stopping by her performance Sunday night at Beaux. If you've been following the show recently, you can expect her to share some Tea on everything that's been going on.

Finally, with Election 2016 just a few weeks away, Tuesday will be your chance to hear a debate on four land use initiatives that will be on the ballot. Supervisors Jane Kim, Aaron Peskin, and Scott Wiener will be among the debaters.
