A fatal disturbance in Richmond's quiet streets has drawn police investigation after a victim was discovered succumbed to their wounds. At the break of dawn, the Richmond Police Department was summoned to the 300 block of South 36th St., responding to a distress call at 5:51 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers, accompanied by medical personnel, found a gravely injured individual who, despite efforts, was declared deceased at the scene. As the morning sun rose, detectives of the RPD Homicide Unit cordoned off areas.
