Florida's Broward County was abuzz with activity after law enforcement agencies responded to reports of migrant landings in Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale over the weekend. On Saturday morning, Hollywood Beach was the focus of attention following a suspected migrant landing near Coolidge Street. Hollywood Police were called to the scene around 7:40 a.m. where they found an approximately 30-foot sailboat on the shore. Suspected migrants are believed to have arrived and fled the area, as reported by NBC Miami. The U.S. Border Patrol and the Broward Sheriff's Office have since joined to actively conduct a search.

According to Local 10 News, another incident was reported Friday night in Fort Lauderdale, near Southeast 21 Street. However, the Fort Lauderdale Police Department deemed this report to be unfounded. The authorities have been attempting to thoroughly investigate these incidents to put together what exactly transpired during these landings.

Meanwhile, the search continues as U.S. Border Patrol and local law enforcement scour the vicinity for any signs of the individuals who were aboard the abandoned vessel in Hollywood. Law enforcement has not disclosed whether they have apprehended any individuals from these incidents or provided any specific information about their nationalities or conditions.
