New Dynasty Room lounge crafts tea-infused cocktails in the International DistrictPhoto: Dynasty Room/Yelp

A new cocktail lounge serving herbal- and tea-infused cocktails has opened up in the ChinatownInternational District. Located at 714 S. King St., the newly remodeled Dynasty Room is the latest venture of Oasis Tea Zone owner I-Miun Liu.

Taking the space of the shuttered Four Seas restaurant, the dimly lit Dynasty Room has a relaxed, modern vibe. The lounge's East Asian-influenced decor, along with a glowing red entrance remade to resemble a temple, comes courtesy of local design firm Electric Coffin, reports Eater Seattle.

The drink list is full of creative concoctions like the Dynasty Dweller (gin, lemon juice, lemon berry sage tea syrup and butterfly pea flower tea) and Dracarys (bourbon, toasted black tea syrup, bitters and cherrywood smoke), as well as beer and wine.

On the menu, there are small plates of Korean- and Chinese-inspired cuisine, such as deep-fried eggplant, cold peanut noodles with shrimp and Spam, and marinated short ribs.

With a 4.5-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival has been warmly received by reviewers.

Andrew E., who on April 7 was among the first Yelpers to share their thoughts, said, “This place is a great spot to grab drinks and small plates. Awesome happy hour and bar. Has so much character and we found it was hand built by the owners. Fantastic and cannot wait to be back!"

And India G. said, "Beautiful location, beautiful art and great drinks!"

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Dynasty Room is open Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m.–2 a.m., and Sunday–Thursday from 4 p.m.–midnight.
