There's a brand-new sushi bar and steakhouse in town. The newcomer to Downtown, called Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi, is located at 10400 N.E. Fourth St., Suite 3100.

Perched on the 31st floor the Lincoln Center South tower, this high-end new restaurant comes from Ascend Hospitality Group, which is also responsible for the tower's Lincoln South Food Hall, a collection of seven fast-casual restaurants.

With sweeping views of the water through floor-to-ceiling glass windows, Ascend offers a similarly swank menu: prime dry-aged steaks and high-end sushi rolls like the Wagyu beef roll with foie gras and truffle soy beurre blanc. There's a full bar with cocktails and wine as well.

The newcomer has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 17 reviews on Yelp.

Gordon L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 26, wrote, "Lincoln Center South already has the best collection of restaurants in Bellevue, and Ascend makes it even better! I took my family to Ascend a week after it opened and we all left happy and full."

Yelper Michael O. added, “This is a very nice restaurant with an outrageous view of the city. Prices are extremely expensive — we go out to some very expensive places, and this is the most expensive place we've gone in Bellevue."

And Mark Y. wrote, "The views are breathtaking. Simply can't beat the natural beauty of the dining room surroundings. They sure picked an amazing spot. It's catered towards the fine-dining crowd, as prices for the food are noticeably higher. Wine prices, on the other hand, are quite reasonable for a steakhouse."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi is open from 5 p.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and 5 p.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
