A new Korean restaurant has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Hot Stone & Korean Kitchen, the fresh arrival is located at 2330 Royal Lane in northwest Dallas.

On the menu, you'll find options like the Hot Stone Bibimbap, the Spicy Pork Back Bone Stew, grilled beef short ribs, marinated beef bulgogi and gimbap (with radish kimchi and spicy seasoned squid).

With a four-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, Hot Stone & Korean Kitchen has made a promising start.

EunSik S., who reviewed the new spot on July 28, wrote, "I had their typical bibimbap and it was fresh! ... The portion is always big and may have gotten bigger than when they used to be at the Carrollton location. I had leftovers even though I used to finish the bowl."

Yelper Min K. added, “I came here for a weekday lunch and getting a seat was like playing musical chairs. My table ordered kimchi mung bean pancakes, drug kimbap, cheese tonkatsu, regular tonkatsu and marinated crab with soup. The kimchi pancake wasn't as spicy, but had a lot of ingredients in it."

Head on over to check it out: Hot Stone & Korean Kitchen is open from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday-Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
