IPA-focused sports bar Uptown Hophouse now open in Queen AnnePhoto: Dave A./Yelp

There's a brand-new sports bar in Queen Anne. Called Uptown Hophouse, the new addition is located at 219 First Ave. North, Suite 101 and focuses on beer offerings from the Pacific Northwest for its two dozen taps, as we recently reported.

On draft, craft beer enthusiasts will find brews like Hood River's Pfriem IPA, Black Raven's Coco Jones Coconut Porter, and Crux's Gimme Mo IPA. The food options include a hummus plate, Korean bibimbap tacos and a Cubano grilled sandwich. (You can check out the menu here.)

The new addition has earned positive reviews in its early days, with a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

"Attentive servers that are friendly and knowledgeable. Best wings we've had in a long while," wrote Phil S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on August 11. "Adult beverages are on point as well."

Yelper Dave A. elaborated, “Very solid beer selection with an emphasis on IPA's.”

Interested? Hop on over to catch a game. Uptown Hophouse is open from 2 p.m.–midnight daily.
