Homecoming at President Lincoln's Cottage

First up, bring your family to run, walk and play where President Lincoln's family did during the Civil War. President Lincoln's Cottage was home-away-from-home for the Lincolns, and now the historic site and museum plays host to both a 5K run and a day of family activities like arts and crafts, pony rides and a picnic. The event is free, but you can also take a guided tour of the house at regular prices.

When: Saturday, Sept. 22, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
Where: President Lincoln's Cottage, 140 Rock Creek Church Road NW
Admission: Free for activities; $40 for the 5K on race day

When: Saturday, Sept. 22, 10 p.m.– 2 a.m.
Where: 12Twelve, 1212 H St. NE

Drink specials will be available at the full cash bar. Food will not be served on board.

When: Sunday, Sept. 23, 5–7:30 p.m.
