Common Market reopens at new location in South EndPhoto: Common Market/Yelp

Common Market has returned to South End after leaving the neighborhood two years ago. Its brand-new, two-story space is at 235 W. Tremont Ave., Suite 103, and serves as a deli, bar and market.

Charlotte magazine reports the recently opened spot, which has 5,000 square feet of space inside and 2,000 square feet outside, will focus more on grab-and-go foods.

At the deli, sandwich lovers can choose between a plethora of bread options, including honey wheat, nine-grain, sourdough, rye, hoagie rolls and even gluten-free options. Pre-made sandwich and salad options are also available.

Vegetarian or vegan? Common Market's got you covered. Check out options like the Mid-Eastern sandwich, made with hummus, tabouleh, red onion, green bell peppers, red cabbage and sprouts in your choice of wrap.

With a 3.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, Common Market is getting solid feedback.

James L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 23, wrote, "Great new place in South End and excellent patio to bring your dogs. The pimento cheese sandwich was great and the prices were very fair. This is my new local go to!"

And Jessica R. wrote, "I love the variety of seating options both inside and outside.  A huge variety of sandwiches, salads and cooler meals to choose from as well! They have a nice bar inside and a coffee bar as well."
