Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the best affordable Italian restaurants around Baltimore, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to satisfy your cravings.

1. Trinacria Foods

Topping the list is Trinacria Foods. Located at 406 N. Paca St. in Seton Hill, the classic Italian deli, which offers sandwiches and more, is the highest rated cheap Italian restaurant in Baltimore, boasting 4.5 stars out of 234 reviews on Yelp.

The restaurant/deli offers a selection of Italian sandwiches, deli meats, cheeses, fresh bread, groceries and more. Next up is Rosemont East's Frank's Pizza & Pasta, situated at 6620 Belair Road With 4.5 stars out of 68 reviews on Yelp, it has proven to be a local favorite for those looking for a budget-friendly Italian option. 

Opened since 1985, the restaurant serves a vast variety of authentic Italian food that ranges from sub sandwiches to pizza and pasta. Enjoy pasta dishes like the chicken marsala, made with chicken breast in a creamy marsala wine mushroom sauce over rigatoni; or try the shrimp marinara with jumbo shrimp in a marinara sauce.

3. Pasta Mista

Canton Industrial Area's Pasta Mista, located at 3600 Boston St., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the low-priced Italian spot, which offers pizza and cheesesteaks, four stars out of 101 reviews. 

Diners can expect options including tortellini Bolognese with a cheese tortellini pasta cooked in the restaurant’s pink creamy meat sauce. Or indulge in a stuffed-double crust pizza that’s stuffed with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, ham, ricotta, mozzarella, parmigiano cheese and tomato sauce.

Order from a menu of homemade Italian dishes, pizza, sandwiches, soups and desserts. Try options like the cheese ravioli with meat sauce, a slice of Sicilian pizza with garlic bread or a spaghetti with meatballs dinner with garlic bread and small garden salad.
