City of Fort Worth MLK Employee Celebration

Come celebrate what would be Martin Luther King Jr.'s 90th birthday on Jan. 15 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Presented by the Fort Worth Human Relations Unit, this public party will have free lunch from In-N-Out Burger, a birthday cake and an educational program highlighting Dr. King's legacy.

Permission to Breathe: Patiently Growing Yourselves and Your Children

Gladney University presents this workshop aimed at parents of adopted children. The training will present participants with parenting strategies that will allow them to deal with their child's trauma and struggles that guardians sometimes internalize.
