A new spot to score chicken wings, desserts and sandwiches has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Spicy Boys, the fresh arrival is located at 1701 E. Sixth St. in East Austin.

The new food truck is an expansion of Soursop, according to Eater Austin. It specializes in Thai-fried chicken. On the menu, look for the fried chicken, roti and curry, tater tots and more. The chicken wings are available with sauces from mild to hot — something for everyone's spice tolerance.

With a five-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, Spicy Boys has already made a good impression.

Alexandria B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 3, wrote, "The tater tots are the best ones I've ever had, just by the seasoning alone. You don't need ketchup with these."

And Wayne N. wrote, "Soursop is expanding and Spicy Boys is their family's second restaurant. It has all the same twists and flavor profiles of the original restaurant with more Southern goodness to boot."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Spicy Boys is open from 4–10 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday, noon–midnight on Friday and Saturday, and noon–8 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
