Hungry? A new neighborhood New American spot has you covered. Called Del Mar SoCal Kitchen, the fresh addition is located at 705 N. High St., Floor 1 in Victorian Village.

This spot is one of nearly 40 restaurants across a dozen states by restaurant group Cameron Mitchell. This Southern California-inspired menu offers seafood plates like salmon poke and casual fare like burgers and fish tacos. For a heartier meal, look for entrées like rib-eye steak and beef tenderloin. On the drink list, there's a diverse selection of wine, brews and handcrafted cocktails.

With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Del Mar SoCal Kitchen has already made a good impression.

Grace L., who reviewed the spot on April 16, wrote, "The food is tasty with lots of seafood options and the environment is spacious, open and inviting. I tried the Wagyu burger and swordfish, which were both juicy and cooked perfectly."

And Josh W. added, "One of the main things that drew me to this place was the dessert menu. We tried the chocolate cake, the Hawaiian shaved ice and the coconut on the half shell. The desserts were very light and refreshing."

Del Mar SoCal Kitchen is now open 4-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 4 p.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday at 705 N. High St., Floor 1., so stop in to try it for yourself.
