A new candy store has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The newcomer to Lake Highlands, called Candytopia, is located at 8021 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite 2000.

If you ever dreamed of inserting yourself into the board game "Candyland," check out Candytopia, which has 14 curated and crafted rooms of candy-themed activities, including a pool of 300,000 marshmallows, stops to sample the sweet treats and artwork. There is also a store to fill a goody-bag of candy to take home. Click here to purchase tickets. (Note that the traveling exhibit closes on July 31.)

The new candy store has already attracted fans thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 29 reviews on Yelp.

Liz B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 7, wrote, "We had a great time. The art is amazing and the employees were super accommodating."

Yelper Brigitte K. added, “A lot of fun and super interactive. Everything was colorful, candy for snacking in every room, great photo opportunities and very creative. You can tell the creator put a lot of work and care into her craft. It's fun for everyone of all ages.”

Candytopia has yet to post its hours online.
