Peter Jackson's 'They Shall Not Grow Old'

From the event description:

In partnership with Hollywood Post 43 of the American Legion and the UCLA Film & Television Archive Board, the Archive presents a special screening of director Peter Jackson’s new documentary on the First World War, "They Shall Not Grow Old" (2018). The film, which has garnered rave reviews, is an amazing achievement, made possible by new digital technology which turns grainy, silent, black and white newsreel footage into a color sound film. It seemingly takes the viewer into the real world as it existed in 1914 to 1918.
