Austin-based recruiting company Flo Recruit has secured $150,000 in seed funding, according to company database Crunchbase, topping the city’s recent funding headlines. The cash infusion was announced Aug.19 and financed by Y Combinator.

According to its Crunchbase profile, "Flo Recruit enables companies to hire the best talent at recruitment events by capturing candidate data in less than 30 seconds, gathering employee feedback in a frictionless process, and delivering never before available insights to recruiters."

The three-year-old startup also raised a $240,000 pre-seed round in 2018.

The round brings total funding raised by Austin companies in professional services over the past month to $63 million, an increase of $60 million from the month before. The local professional services industry has produced 17 funding rounds over the past year, securing a total of $265 million in venture funding.

In other local funding news, mobile apps company Tradiies announced a $100,000 seed funding round on August 5, financed by Sputnik ATX.

According to Crunchbase, "Tradiies is the first networking app for beauty professionals."

The company also raised a $390,000 pre-seed round in 2018.
