A new go kart racing spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called the Gene Woods Racing Experience, the new arrival is located at 450 Fremont St., Suite 171, in downtown Las Vegas.

The new addition comes courtesy of veteran racer Gene Woods, explains the business on its website, who "wanted to give the general public the chance to race against family, friends and other racers in a true racing atmosphere."

With another outpost situated at the Las Vegas Sports Center, guests can experience "a total adrenaline rush" racing high-performance indoor electric carts designed with less noise and easy handling in mind. (You can visit the website here for more information.)

The newcomer has received an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.

Ivan I., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 12, wrote, "The best indoor carting in Vegas! My buddies and I went there on Saturday and had a blast chasing each other around the curves. Highly recommend this place to anyone seeking some high speed adrenaline in downtown Las Vegas!"

"OMG you guys, this place is so much fun and full of adrenaline!" added Yelper Loren B. "We loved the experience of racing each other and having fun together."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. The Gene Woods Racing Experience is open from noon–10 p.m. daily.
