A new pasta shop has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Impasta, the new addition is located at 615 N. Western Ave. in Melrose.

Impasta offers pasta and pizza dishes with a variety of zero to low carb options, according to its website. The menu features cauliflower gnocchi with ricotta, spaghetti squash with cherry tomatoes and burrata and zucchini noodles with Impossible meat bolognese sauce. View the menu here. 

Impasta has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Ed W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 10, wrote, "The puttanesca with the shirataki noodles was delicious! An amazing option if you're craving pasta sans carbs."
