Looking to chow down on some wings? Korean fried chicken chain Pelicana Chicken has added a new location at 641 10th Ave. in Hell's Kitchen.

Established in South Korea nearly 40 years ago, Pelicana Chicken entered the American market in 2014 and has since expanded to 10 locations in the New York City area, as well as outposts in Philadelphia and Virginia. The chain's signature Korean-style fried chicken wings have been named among "The Absolute Best" and the top five in the city, and Eater New York declared that Pelicana's first Manhattan location, in Koreatown, serves "The Finest Korean Fried Chicken in New York."

Guests at this new Hell's Kitchen location will find Pelicana's full menu of wings, drumsticks, chicken sandwiches, fries and more. Check out the wings coated in house sauce (mild, spicy or very spicy) or in honey garlic, soy wasabi and other sauces (available in 10- and 20-piece orders). Or try one of the wing and drumstick combos. Other items include boneless wings, chicken sandwiches with choice of sauce, and appetizers like truffle oil fries and Cajun calamari.

With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new locale is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Edward S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 12, wrote, "Badly needed good Korean fried chicken finally in Hell's Kitchen. Of the other Korean fried chicken restaurants in the city, this one might have the best crunch to the chicken."

Yelper Tanya K. noted, "Definitely hit the spot, and I'm so happy I don't have to trek down to Koreatown to get my fix!"

Pelicana Chicken is now open, so stop by to try it for yourself.
