Find desserts and more at Riverside's new Mixed Fillings Pie ShopPhoto: Dianna B./Yelp

If you're after desserts, look no further than this new business. The new addition to Riverside, called Mixed Fillings Pie Shop, is located at 2251 Oak St.

According to the business' Facebook page, this woman-owned and operated pie shop "develops unique sweet and savory pies for the local foodie families in the community—putting people and flavor at the center."

Yelpers rave about owner Natasha Burton's creations, which frequently sell out. The shop's current offerings range from The Costanza, a peach pie with ginger, cinnamon, brown sugar and lemon, to the Three Sisters, a pie made of mixed berries, a hint of lavender, cinnamon, lemon zest and a flaky pastry crust. (Take a peek at the menu here.)

With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, Mixed Fillings Pie Shop is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Rena S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 17, wrote, "We pre-ordered one of [Natasha's] pies, the Blurred Lime (key lime custard, candied limes, whipped cream, pretzel brand sugar crust), and it was amazing! Easily the best key lime pie I've had. Perfect lime flavor and the pretzel brown sugar crust was everything...Salty, sweet, crunchy goodness."

Yelper Rebecca L. added, “We ordered the Moon pie for pickup...Wonderful pretzel crust combined the savory and sweet, making our taste buds sing. The chocolate used for the French silk part of the pie was obviously high quality, and you could taste the difference. Truly delicious!”

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Mixed Fillings Pie Shop is open from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.) If you pre-order a pie, you can pick it up between 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
