Food lovers and farm fanatics, get ready to feast. The third annual Field Guide Festival is coming back to town, promising a tasteful blend of fresh farm produce and culinary expertise. Set for April 20 at Fiesta Gardens, the festival is shaping up to be a who's who of the Austin food scene. This year's lineup includes notable chef-and-farmer duos such as Amanda Turner of Olamaie and Ty + Sara Burk of True Bird Farm, as well as Ariana Quant of Uchi and Tara Chapman of Two Hives Honey, to name just a few. as reported by CultureMap.

But it's not all about the food. Co-founder Lindsey Sokol said, "This was our way to bring that farm face to a name and be able to have conversations with these local farmers." The festival is also to set include educational talks curated by co-founder Trisha Bates, a farmer's bodega, and unique experiences such as a pizza party and a mini vegetable omakase tent featuring Boggy Creek Farm produce, CultureMap.

"Our festival is the only place in the city where you will see the farmers side-by-side with the chefs, who transform their food," Bates explained. "New this year, Field Guide will welcome guests of all ages," added Sokol, underscoring the event's commitment to informing the public and spotlighting the local food supply chain, as per Austin Chronicle.

With chefs and farmers poised to not only serve up their best but also to engage in conversation with guests, Field Guide Festival is serving much more than tasty bites.
