Deputies from the office of Constable Mark Herman made a move on the streets of Harris County, slapping cuffs on a young man for packing heat without a permit. A regular traffic stop turned into a bust on April 17, as law enforcement pulled over 20-year-old Payton Geldmacher on the 3400 block of La Seine Lane. The stop was routine, but what they found was not—a loaded gun and some green.

According to a Facebook post by the Constable's Office, officers uncovered a loaded semiautomatic handgun alongside marijuana in the possession of Geldmacher. The discovery made it clear—this was more than just a traffic violation. The Harris County Constable's Office was crisp in their declaration: "Payton Geldmacher was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon."

As for the suspect's bond, it's been set—a mere pittance at $100.00, spelled out by County Court 15.
