In less than 20 minutes after the emergency response began, the LAFD reported a "knockdown" of the fire, indicating that the situation was under control. The team on site consisted of a variety of units, which not only targeted the flames but also ensured no injuries were reported during the incident, this includes Battalion Chiefs 10 and 12, Hazardous Materials Squad 87, and Rescue Ambulance 98, among other specialist teams and personnel.

According to the follow-up report provided by LAFD, the fast response and effective measures taken by firefighters made it possible to swiftly extinguish the flames, preventing a bad situation from becoming far worse, the ops included various engines and trucks, and specialized units such as Urban Search and Rescue as well as Air Operations units. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the extent of property damage is yet to be disclosed by fire officials.
