As reported by the City of Charlotte's official news announcement, the application window remains open until noon on July 19. Criteria for eligibility include a threshold of $175,000 in annual gross revenues and at least a two-year operational business, owned majority by ethnic minority entrepreneurs. Applicants must also employ at least one other worker besides the business owner or owners.

Throughout the program duration, business owners will not only delve into core entrepreneurial skills but will also receive unique supplementary sessions. These sessions, hosted by a Charlotte anchor institution, promises insights into marketing, technology, financing, and the nuances of supplier diversity. Culminating in the development of a personalized three-year growth strategy, the program seeks to serve as a practical springboard for tangible, long-term success.

Bernand Johnson, Senior Director of Programs and Partnerships at Interise, highlighted the significant outcomes of the program. He noted, "The AMP Up program has created a huge impact on the participating companies. Recent program graduates have experienced an average revenue growth of 35%, 27% secured new financing, 77% are following a strategic growth action plan, and 100% would recommend the program to a fellow business owner," in a statement obtained by City of Charlotte's official statement.
