Looks like there's a registration rush at Austin Community College (ACC) with a sharp uptick in enrollment figures. Data released as of June 20 shows that enrollments have skyrocketed, with overall numbers up by almost 23% from the previous year and a significant 29% from two years past. According to Austin Community College District, the Free Tuition Pilot Program for the high school class of 2024 was announced on April 1 and has since seen new student registrations jumping more than 27% from last year and a staggering 78% from fall 2022.

As per the ACC District, it's not just overall numbers that are increasing. Daily reports indicate that nearly every academic area is boasting enrollment increases of at least 10% compared to last year, with Health Science riding a high of 28.2% and Science, Engineering, and Math not far behind at a 29.9% rise. Students who might still want to join the swell have until the fall semester kicks off on August 26 to pick their courses, although they're urged to do so quickly to snag preferred classes and locations.

They offer courses that pack a semester's worth of education into 14-, 12-, or 8-week sessions.
