San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputies have apprehended an Eastvale man connected to a robbery that occurred in the early hours of May 6, 2024. The suspect, identified as 30-year-old Cory Thacker, was taken into custody following a traffic stop in Rancho Cucamonga on June 26.

According to the Sheriff's Department press release, the robbery was reported at the 5900 block of Arden Avenue in San Bernardino, where the victim, who remains confidential, described being robbed at gunpoint by a black male adult. Through meticulous investigation, detectives linked a 1996 Ford Crown Victoria to the crime and ultimately identified Thacker as the suspect. The arrest was made possible when Central Station detectives and the Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) observed Thacker deliberately drive the aforementioned vehicle. Following the traffic stop, MET detained and arrested Thacker for his alleged involvement in the robbery. He has since been booked at West Valley Detention Center under the charge of PC 211 Robbery.
