The search for Shelbie Lynn Dwyer, an 18-year-old from Des Moines who went missing in March last year, has intensified as the FBI has announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to her recovery. She was last known to be in Guamuchil, Sinaloa, Mexico, after voluntarily leaving her home on March 25, 2023. As per an article by KING 5, her last contact with family occurred four days later on March 29.
According to information from FBI Seattle's X post, the increased reward aligns with the bureau's commitment to assist in Dwyer's case. Before the communication ceased, Dwyer had told her family she intended to return home from her trip to Mexico, which she embarked on by car and, later, by plane. It is believed that she traveled to Tijuana and then flew to Culiacan, Sinaloa, where she was last seen.
The reward has been increased to up to $10,000 for information leading to Shelbie Lynn Dwyer’s recovery. Dwyer was last believed to be in Guamuchil, Sinaloa, Mexico, around March 29, 2023. She has not been heard from since then. https://t.co/C2f83Bh8XR pic.twitter.com/IkXZ7hBnUw
