Harris County Man Charged with Retaliation After Confrontation with DeputiesSource: Facebook/Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4

On the familiar streets of Harris County, a disturbance call evolved into a tense confrontation between law enforcement and a local man, who now faces serious charges. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were dispatched to the 18700 block of Porthaven Rose Lane on June 23, where they encountered an individual attempting to forcefully enter a residence.

According to deputies, attempting to resolve the situation peaceably, were met with aggression. Raymundo Flores Jr, the man in question, not merely content with refusing entry, reportedly issued threats of physical harm against the officers taking him into custody. As emotions flared and tensions rose, law enforcement managed to safely detain Flores, who it turned out was wanted on open traffic warrants.

Constable Mark Herman stated in a Facebook update, "Raymundo Flores Jr was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with two counts of Retaliation and his warrants. His bond was set at $20,000.00 out of the 351st District Court."

The motives behind Flores' initial disturbance remain unclear.
