Lewisville and TCAP to Host Affordable Vaccine Clinic for Pets on July 6thSource: Google Street View

The City of Lewisville, in collaboration with the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP), is hosting a budget-friendly vaccine clinic for your furry friends. Scheduled for Saturday, July 6, from 10 a.m. to noon, local pet owners can swing by the Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center at 995 E. Valley Ridge Boulevard to keep their pets up to date on their shots, according to the City of Lewisville, Texas.

For those interested in keeping their pet's health on budget, TCAP is offering a slew of vaccines for dogs, including Rabies, Bordetella, DAPPv, Leptospirosis, Lyme Disease, Canine Influenza, and Heartworm. The clinics cater to feline needs as well, providing vaccinations for Rabies, FeLV, FHCPCh, and FIV. Other wellness services will be available as well, at a reduced cost, ensuring comprehensive pet healthcare doesn't have to break the bank. Keep in mind, heartworm prevention requires a negative heartworm test, administered on-site before a prescription is given.

For the clinic, all dogs must be on a leash for the safety of the pet and other clients and their pets, and all cats must be snug in a hard-sided carrier. If you miss this opportunity or need more time to prepare, don’t fret—the next clinic is on the calendar for Saturday, Oct. 5.
