The raid carried out around 8:32 a.m. on the 1000 block of Lillyhill Drive, uncovered not only a suspected drug operation but also ammunition and items believed to be stolen property, according to the SBSD - Colorado River Sheriffs Department.

The operation led to the detention, and subsequent arrest of Michael Hood, 48, Juan Hernandez, 26, and Johanna Baumgartner, 22, all residents of Needles. The suspects encountered deputies' discovery of suspected methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl, and various drug paraphernalia within the premises, the authorities stated. Hood, who has been charged with possession of stolen property and operating a drug house, faces a $30,000 bail. Hernandez hit with similar charges in addition to an outstanding warrant, has his bail set at $40,000, as reported by the Colorado River Sheriffs Department. Baumgartner, arrested for her alleged role in the drug house, is held at a $30,000 bail, the Sheriff's office indicates.

As per the Sheriff's office release, the three individuals remain in custody at the Colorado River Station jail while they await their court hearings.
