New Braunfels Gears Up for Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular at Landa Park Sponsored by H-E-BSource: City of New Braunfels Website

Get ready to light up your Independence Day with the return of the Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular at Landa Park. Kicking off at about 9:15 p.m. on July 4, this annual display of pyrotechnics promises to dazzle spectators across New Braunfels.

The display, sponsored by H-E-B, is set to illuminate the skies above Landa Lake and can be viewed from various locations including Landa Park, the Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs, and the Fredericksburg Baseball Fields. For those planning to set up on the green, be advised that seating on the golf course begins at 6 p.m., though the putting greens are off limit. The Parks and Recreation Director of New Braunfels, Chad Donegan, said in a statement obtained by New Braunfels' official website, “There’s nothing better than seeing family and friends come together to celebrate our nation’s independence in their hometown parks.”

Park attractions such as the Landa Park Aquatic Complex and the Miniature Train will be operating throughout the holiday weekend for additional family fun. For more information, visitors are directed to the New Braunfels' Parks website. Adding to the spirited atmosphere, the final Live at Landa concert will take place at the Dance Slab, featuring performances by Monte Good and the J. Abram Band, presented by Valmark Chevrolet.

Prior to the fireworks, attendees will be treated to a sky-high performance from the RE/MAX Skydiving Team, making their entrance onto the golf course. New Braunfels Chief of Police Keith Lane has a message for those considering DIY fireworks: “Remember, without a permit, the possession or use of any kind of firework is illegal inside the city limits of New Braunfels. So, leave the fireworks to the professionals and enjoy the show in Landa Park.” Attendees are advised to arrive early to contend with the expected large crowds, and are encouraged to listen to the synchronized patriotic music broadcast on local radio station KGNB 1420 AM/103.1 FM during the fireworks spectacle.
