Authorities in Philadelphia are requesting assistance from the community to identify a suspect involved in a shooting incident that occurred in the city's 22nd District. The encounter, which unfolded on the evening of June 23, resulted in gunfire but fortunately, did not cause physical harm to any persons.

The altercation began around 10:20 pm after a verbal dispute escalated. The victim reportedly entered his vehicle on the 2200 block of North 16th Street, when the suspect discharged a firearm several times, striking the complainant's car. According to the Philadelphia Police Department's Central Detective Division, no injuries have been reported in the incident.

The suspect has been described as a Black male, standing at 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a "Flyers" hat, white tank top, blue jeans, and white sneakers. The police have released a video clip in hopes that the public may assist in identifying the individual responsible for the shooting.

Members of the community with any knowledge pertaining to the suspect or the incident are encouraged to come forward.
