Following a diligent overnight investigation into a double homicide in Irving, the suspected perpetrator was apprehended on Wednesday morning. According to an update by the Irving Police Department, Oved Bernardo Mendoza Argueta, 37, was taken into custody at approximately 2:50 am and is currently being held in the Irving City Jail.
Before the suspect’s capture, the authorities had relayed a description of the individual and the vehicle he was believed to be driving—a silver 1997 Honda four-door with Texas license plate GVH6205.
