A tragic event unfolded on San Antonio's West Side where a teenage boy is alleged to have killed his mother, following a family dispute. FOX San Antonio reports that police responded to a disturbance call on Tuesday and found a woman with fatal shotgun wounds, the woman was declared dead at the scene. Two suspects, including the victim's 15-year-old son, were taken into custody shortly thereafter.

Details from the scene indicated that, the son allegedly shot Luz Aurora Gonzalez, 37, in the back of the head. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed her identity. According to KSAT, the shooting occurred outside the family's residence located in the 1500 block of Delgado Street. After the incident, the teenager reportedly attempted to escape but was apprehended by the police without further conflicts.

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus shared that multiple calls had been made to the residence in recent weeks, however, none were related to domestic issues. The weapon believed to have been used by the teen was seized by authorities.
