Three suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the killing of a teenager who was fatally shot in front of his residence last month. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) confirmed that 18-year-old Doir Jenkins and two male juveniles were arrested on June 26, 2024, after detectives identified them during the investigation, as stated on LVMPD press release.

The shooting occurred on May 11, 2024, on Goldhill Way and the LVMPD responded to reports of the incident around 10:45 a.m. first responders arrived to find the victim with a gunshot wound and subsequently he was transported to UMC hospital, but despite the efforts of medical personnel, the teenager was pronounced dead; the detectives concluded that the unidentified male suspect who carried out the shooting, had fled before police could arrive on the scene.

Jenkins, along with the 17-year-old suspect, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center facing charges of open murder, robbery, and conspiracy to commit murder, the Las Vegas Police Department's official news release notes. The 14-year-old suspect is being held at Clark County Juvenile Hall under the same charges.
