U.S. Marshals and Baltimore Police in Active Search for Suspected Stabber Tyrone PriceSource: Baltimore Police Department

A joint effort to apprehend a stabbing suspect is underway as the U.S. Marshals Service joins the Baltimore police in their search for 29-year-old Tyrone Price. The investigation began after police were alerted on April 24, to a man covered in blood on the corner of Bel-Air Road and Eierman Avenue in northeast Baltimore. Initially believed to be a casualty of a road incident, "Very quickly they learned he had been stabbed multiple times." Deputy Chief Mat Silverman stated as per FOX Baltimore.

As the victim received urgent medical care that fortunately saved his life, further details emerged. The victim could provide a description of his assailant, known to him as "Sammy," with a "Dontia" tattoo under his left eye. WCBM obtained information that, through surveillance and subsequent investigative efforts, led to the identification of Tyrone Price as the suspect. Silverman, while discussing with WCBM, highlighted Price's long history of criminal conduct, with a record of offenses that include drug distribution and assault.

Currently at large, Price is described as 5’2″ tall and weighing approximately 220 pounds, armed and potentially dangerous. Authorities caution the public in engaging with the suspect. Silverman emphasized to FOX Baltimore, "He left a man there to die. We need to make sure this does not happen to anybody else." Law enforcement speculates that Price may be hiding in Baltimore or its vicinity.

The U.S. Marshals Service appeals to the community for assistance and requests that anyone with information on Price's whereabouts reach out by calling 202-819-5058. As the search continues, they underscore the urgency of apprehending Price to prevent further violence. "Mr. Price has an extensive criminal history." said Silverman to WCBM, establishing the gravity of the situation and the risk Price poses to the community.
