Hayes Valley Week: Free Movie, Tweed Bike Ride, A Juice Fundraiser, MorePhoto: Pamela Palma

Got an event you want the neighborhood to know about? To be included in our next Hayes Valley weekly roundup, please fill out the form at this link by Tuesday evening.

We're almost through another week in Hayes Valley, and it's never too soon to look ahead to the weekend. We've got some great events lined up in the neighborhood, but first, here's a few bits of news we've covered.

This week, the neighborhood got a visit from actor Harrison Ford, who stopped in at Triple Aught Design and Souvla. He's also rumored to have swung by Gant and Convert.

If you've had trouble getting a dinner reservation at Cala, you may have better luck with lunch. The Mexican seafood restaurant launched its taco window on Tuesday, serving tacos de guisado (a homestyle street taco) from 11am to 3pm in Hickory Alley, between Franklin and Van Ness.

In retail news, a new boutique called Seldom Seen that caters to the "urban prep lifestyle" is preparing to open up in the former Lustre Salon space (next to Cafe La Vie). There's also rumblings of Mountain Up, an outdoor gear store, opening on Friday at 375 357 Grove St. More on that soon.

Looking ahead to the weekend, a number of free events are taking place. Here's what's happening, when and where:

Friday, Nov. 13th

Screening of The Wolfpack
PROXY, Hayes and Octavia
7pm
Host Description: Despite growing up on the Lower East Side, the six Angulo brothers know little of New York City or the outside world, having spent most of their lives locked away in their apartment. Most of what they know of the world has been gleaned from the films they watch obsessively and recreate meticulously, using elaborate homemade props and costumes. After one of the brothers escapes the apartment, the others soon want to follow, leading to a chance encounter with first-time film director Crystal Moselle.

Saturday, Nov. 14th

Project Juice Grand Opening & Fundraiser
364 Hayes St.
10am-2pm
Host Description: Help us end hunger as we head into the holiday season. The new location will offer PAY-WHAT-YOU-WANT smoothies (100 percent of proceeds go to SF-Marin Food Bank), as well as FREE juice for the first 100 people to show up. There will be giveaways, raffles and sampling for the duration of the event.

La Scuola Open House
735 Fell St.
11:30am-1pm
Host Description: In our 13th year as a preschool and our fourth year as an elementary school, we are excited to grow one grade per year. We hope you will share our enthusiasm when you get to know our school, our programs and our vibrant community. Please join us at one of our open house events and school tours, and learn about our programs by visiting our website

Love Letter to the City Art Exhibition
TAYLOR/MONROE, 448 Grove St.
8-11pm
Host Description: Join us for a fun night of art as local artist Lord Colin O’Neal, pays homage to our city with drawings and paintings of his favorite buildings and visual staples of San Francisco. The opening reception party will be the start of the exhibit’s duration in the salon until February 2016. Come and share your own love letter to the city we all know and adore. Enjoy (and buy) the amazing artwork by the artist while enjoying tasty libations, tunes by a live DJ, and San Francisco vibes.

Sunday, Nov. 15th

SF Tweed Ride
Patricia's Green
