Got an event you want the neighborhood to know about? To be included in our next Upper Haight roundup, please fill out the form at this link by Tuesday evening.

This week in the Upper Haight saw non-infrastructure improvement project work on the street's sewers at Haight and Ashbury, after multiple backup complaints on the street. Tipster Steven B. even sent in a photo of a puddle of excrement on the sidewalk on the 1400 block of Haight. "Extremely gross," he noted.

What's happening with the infrastructure project? We'll know more after a public hearing December 3rd.

News also came this week that the three people charged with the murders of 23-year-old Canadian tourist Audrey Carey and 67-year-old therapist Steve Carter on October 3rd and 5th have plead not guilty to all charges.

Citywide news with local significance this week included the improved operation of city Pit Stops in the Haight, with staffing allocated by Supervisor Breed and volunteers from Taking It To The Streets.

It also included the controversial approval by the SFMTA to permanently allow bus stop sharing by private commuter bus companies.

If you're getting into the Thanksgiving spirit early, the Haight Ashbury Food Program is this weekend, as always, accepting monetary donations to help feed locals in need this winter.

A brief word to the wise that the Conservatory of Flowers launched its seasonal model train exhibition just last week. This year's theme is the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition, including scale replicas of the Tower of Jewels, the Palace of Fine Arts, a Palace of Horticulture, and a Tower of Corn. The show will be running until April 10th, 2016.

And finally, the coming month will see three new restaurants opening on the street, all of which are currently under renovation: Dragoneats (1671 Haight), El Rancho Grande (1654 Haight), and Veganburg (1466 Haight), whose representative Alex Tan confirmed last week that Veganburg was experiencing contractor delays.

Now, for a few weekend activities around the neighborhood:
