Yesterday, a fatal accident occurred on the generally quiet Bodega Avenue in Santa Rosa. 

As relayed by the Santa Rosa CHP Office, the accident took place near King Road on Bodega Avenue around 3 p.m. A Nissan Versa was speeding eastbound before it swerved off the road, to crash into a tree, overturning and rolling down an embankment. The solo occupant, a male driver, tragically died at the scene.

The investigation into the accident is continuously ongoing.
