Interested in trying some new spots for ice cream and frozen yogurt in Dallas? You're in luck: we've found the freshest businesses to fit the bill. Here are the newest places to check out the next time you're in the mood for some ice cream and frozen yogurt on a hot Texas day.

La Michoacana Estilo Chicago

La Michoacana Estilo Chicago is a spot to score fresh ice cream, ice pops and other authentic Mexican treats.

The Mexican treat spot serves up a selection of paletas (ice pops) and ice creams, which are all made on-site. It specializes in mangonadas (a drink made with frozen mango, chamoy sauce, lime juice and chili powder) and also offers funnel cakes topped with ice cream. You can score some nachos as well, including one that uses Hot Cheetos instead of tortilla chips.  

La Michoacana Estilo Chicago has received one four-star review on Yelp.  

Yelper Rachel T., who reviewed the shop on June 10, wrote, "Popsicles, ice cream and so much more! Anything you get from here will be amazing, including the cheese ice cream! My go-to is the watermelon popsicle or Oreo ice cream."

Yogurtland

Yogurtland features self-serve frozen yogurt and toppings. The chain, with locations around the country, offers a wide selection of ever-changing flavors that range from cupcake batter and mango tart to sea salt caramel and rich chocolate.

You can also mix in candies and nuts. In addition to frozen yogurt and ice cream cups, you can grab a shake or sundae.

With a four-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp, Yogurtland has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Maria C., who reviewed the shop on June 1, wrote, "Awesome Yogurtland! Great customer service and super clean! Great flavors! We have been here many times!"

Paley W. noted, "The location is great, I'm happy there's finally a Yogurtland so close to my house. They even have Captain Crunch to go along with your yogurt. The staff is super friendly and I'm content with the many sample cups I get every time I walk in."

Yogurtland is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. daily.

Frost Bite Creamery

Frost Bite Creamery makes rolled ice cream in flavors like School Lunch (peanut butter and blackberry jam), Cookie Monster (chocolate chip cookie dough), That's Bananas with Nutella, Grasshopper (mint cookies and chocolate) and more.

Toppings include fresh fruit, candies, cookies and whipped cream. Vegan options are also available.

Yelpers are excited about Frost Bite Creamery, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of 35 reviews on the site.

Liz S., who visited on June 1, wrote, "Located right across the street from the Granada Theater and open late, Frost Bite is great no matter who you are or what your taste buds desire. From more adult flavors like Matcha and Horchata to kid-friendly flavors like PB&J and Bubble Gum, there is truly something for everyone."

Yelper Mack T. added, "The twist here is they pour liquid ice cream onto the cold surface with your mix-ins and the ice cream is created right before your eyes. Good and friendly staff, a lot of SMU students and the ice cream is great."

Frost Bite Creamery is open from 1–9 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 1 p.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 1–10 p.m. on Sunday.
