Topping the list is Town Talk Diner & Gastropub. Located at 2707 E. Lake St. in Longfellow, the gastropub, cocktail bar and New American spot is the highest-rated gastropub in Minneapolis, boasting five stars out of 105 reviews on Yelp.

This establishment was first opened in 1946, and according to the business' website, its rotating menu — from chefs Kacey White and Charles Stotts — is focused on seasonal fare.

Look for menu options such as cinnamon French toast, kale and spinach salad and barbecue brisket hash for Sunday brunch, as well as pan-roasted chicken breast, aged Angus steak and cheeseburgers for dinner. Classic and seasonal cocktails are available.

Inspired by Los Angeles cuisine, the Rabbit Hole serves dishes like Rice Rice Baby (fried rice, bacon, jalapeños and soft poached egg); Van Damme Good Brussels (Brussels sprouts tossed with bacon, onion, mint, walnuts and parmesan); and Wangs (double fried chicken wings naked or tossed in your choice of sauce.) Dinner fare includes burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, appetizers and flatbreads. Look for the Brando flatbread with thinly sliced prosciutto, Brie cheese, caramelized onion, olive oil and basil; the Walleye Rachel sandwich with baby Swiss, prosciutto and coleslaw on rustic rye; and the signature Buster's Burger, complete with Prime Angus beef, white cheddar and shredded lettuce on a butter-toasted bun. Try out the classic Surly Beer Brat, the Bold Flavor Mac and Cheese Stuffed Brat, the Adventurous Southwestern Buffalo wurst, or the Super Premium Rattlesnake Rabbit wurst.
