A new coffee shop offering freshly made waffles, toasts, and drinks with all the bells and whistles has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 3711 J St. in East Sacramento, the fresh arrival is called Station 38 Coffee.

On the drinks menu, look for the iced Vietnamese coffee and the combination of Thai tea with coffee and cream. Sandwiches and breakfast foods like fresh waffles with bananas and strawberries, açaí bowls, and toast topped with avocado or peanut butter are also available.

With a 4.5-star rating out of 22 reviews on Yelp so far, the new café seems to be on the right track.

"Every person working has a smile, greeted me and was super friendly," wrote Ashley C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 21. "I will be back over and over again for this coffee. Strong and delicious just how I like it."

"I had the Thai tea and coffee drink. It was a pick me up type of drink with the sweetness of the Thai tea and enough coffee for a faint taste of toastiness and lots of caffeine," Yelper Julia T. added. "This is also a good place to do work with lots of seating and outlets."

Sound like just the ticket? Stop in to try it for yourself. Station 38 Coffee is open from 6 a.m.–6 p.m. daily.
