Kohi Coffee Company opens new shop downtownPhoto: Kohi Coffee Company/Yelp

A new spot to score coffee and tea has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to downtown Boston, called Kohi Coffee Company, is located at 125 Summer St.

The Provincetown-based company makes drip coffee, pour-overs, espresso drinks and cold brews from beans — organic, fair trade and single origin — supplied by Portland, Maine, producer Tandem Coffee Roasters. (Bags of whole beans are also available.) There is a chai latte on the menu, plus teas from Boston's MEM Tea Imports.

A handful of baked goods are also on offer at the new shop, which boasts a modern design sensibility and a walk-up window.

There's just one review on Yelp thus far.

Galen B., who reviewed the new spot on Aug. 23, wrote, "Excellent cold brew. Nice new shop conveniently located (at least for me). Check it out!"

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Kohi Coffee Company is open from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
