Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Throws Open Doors For Free Thursday Nights
A new Mosaic Lowell report finds the city’s arts and creative industries support nearly 4,000 jobs and generate about $364 million a year, providing a baseline for new investments.
The MFA’s reinstalled 18th‑century galleries pair beloved portraiture with objects and new Indigenous work that foreground slavery and transatlantic trade. The museum also declined a roughly $400,000 federal grant amid policy uncertainty.
The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum will offer free Thursday nights starting July 9 with timed reservations 5–9 p.m.; limited spots mean you should reserve early.
