Now open at 928 Seventh St. West in Keg & Case Market is In Bloom, a fine dining restaurant that comes courtesy of Nick Rancone and chef Thomas Boemer. The spot features "natural, seasonal and wild ingredients such as fresh water fish, shellfish, fowl, game meats, produce and foraged foods expressed through fire, without benefit of any gas or electricity," In Bloom says on its website.

Noteworthy menu options include the venison summer sausage with lettuce hearts, horseradish and Dijon sauce; the two-pound porterhouse steak for the table; and the grilled trout with leeks and potato puree. Here's the menu.

Momma's Kitchen is a casual soul food restaurant that recently opened at 1058 Maryland Ave. East in Payne-Phalen.

On the menu, offerings include deep-fried shrimp tossed in your choice of sauce (lemon, Cajun, Buffalo or pineapple jerk barbecue); Cajun catfish; chicken and waffles; and the loaded mac and cheese with chicken, Buffalo sauce, blue cheese, onions and peppers.

Stop in on Sunday for the Sunday Special, which includes one choice of meat (chicken wings, catfish fillet, blackened shrimp and more), two sides (collard greens, mac and cheese or sweet potatoes) and a corn bread muffin or honey butter biscuit. Here's the full menu.

New to 788 Grand Ave. in Summit Hill is Red Rabbit, an Italian spot from owners Luke and Tracy Shimp, also of Red Cow. It features brunch, lunch and dinner menus in a space that includes exposed brick, charred cedar planks and dimly lit fixtures for a cool and relaxed vibe, per its website. This is the second Red Rabbit, with the original restaurant in Minneapolis’ North Loop.

Start off with shareables like fresh oysters, beef tartare or wood-roasted olives. Notable dinner options include lasagna with house Bolognese and Parmesan and the P, B, & J pizza with red sauce, pineapple, bacon, jalapeño and mozzarella. Here's the full menu.
