Occupational & Physical Therapy for Autism

The Hatching Hope Foundation is holding a workshop for parents to understand the benefits of occupational and physical therapy for individuals living with autism on Saturday at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library.

According to the Foundation, occupational therapists study human growth and development and a person’s interaction with the environment through daily activities. Physical therapy may be an option for children with autism who need help developing age-appropriate motor skills, have low muscle tone, or have problems with physical systems such as breathing control.

Dallasites101 Oscar's Watch Party
